Grand Champagne ‘Pale & Dry’ 40%

Tasted June 2003

90% Ugni Blanc. A blend of spirits with an average of 23 years old.

A delicate, floral and aromatic nose. Dry and fruity with hints of vanilla. The palate is lovely and mellow, quite dry, exceedingly fruity with an intense middle which displays notes of cedar and liquorice. Long, warming finish.

Grand Champagne ‘Vesper’ 40%

Tasted June 2003

A more classic, aged, rich, spicy nose – Lovely, elegant aromas of aged wood, mushrooms, vanilla and smoky nuamnces. The palate is exceptional. Full-bodied, deep, rich and fruitier (than the pale & dry) with an intense, complex spiciness along with a touch of vanilla from the oak. Lovely balance and length with a piquant finish.
