Lovely, mature aromas of rich, dried apricot, apple and dried grape along with hints of dark honey, liquorice, cinnamon and incense. It becomes quite dusty and spicy with time but the light citrus notes balance.
The palate is soft and elegant. Lighter than the nose would suggest with hints of dried grape, apricot and dusty cinnamon. A little oily marzipan comes through on the middle as the oak imparts some character. Lightly dark honeyed finish with a touch of bittering spices
