Feckin Irish Gin 37.5%

Botanicals: Juniper, coriander, lemon, angelica root, cassia

Tasted: Oct 2017

A very lemony nose with hints of juniper. Quite full with a subtle spirit character.

The palate is fresher than the nose, but still lemon dominated with hints of castor sugar, juniper and coriander. Simple but deep with lingering lemon and cassia.

Dingle Original Gin 42.5%

Tasted Nov/ Dec 2013

This Irish gin is distilled using Swedish grain neutral spirit with nine locally grown botanicals: juniper berries, rowan berries, fuschia, bog myrtle, heather, chervil, hawthorn, angelica and coriander.

The nose is fusty, lightly cardboard spiced with hints of perfumed rose water. Damp, fusty and cardboardy palate with a perfumed note and very, very, bitter spice. Conclusion: Nasty! It tastes like distilled Yardly!
