Tasted: Nov/ Dec 2013

A lightly oiled nose with plenty of pungent cereal notes. Slightly grassy with hints of citrus and minerals.  

The palate is soft, slightly grainy with warm vanilla and biting spices. Good mouth-watering finish with hints of liquorice, bitter spices and a pleasant, slightly sweet vanilla after-taste. In conclusion, the higher abv definitely gives it more of a kick, especially in the finish.
