Lightly floral aromas with a depth of lightly spiced prune, sweet sultana and grape. Not hugely complex but it has a soft, rounded rancio.
The palate is soft and rounded. Quite rich with a light spicy note. It becomes quite sweet and crystalised with some honey coated light dried fruits. Medium length with quite a tart citrus and salty finish. It has a slightly mature core but you can certainly feel the younger spirit component at the edges. Quite a dry, tannic finish. However those tannins are quite supple. To be honest I’m not exactly overwhelmed.
