Tasted: Sept 2014
The aromas are quite dense, dark and wheaty with a distinct earthiness and hint of liquorice. With time it becomes slightly smoky and spicy. A really interesting nose!
The palate is soft and wheaty. Again quite dark with liquorice and rye spice. Lightly creamy on the middle with hints of vanilla coming through. Good intensity and length with a very smoky finish.

A lovely, forceful and wheaty nose with dark, grainy rye spice along with a touch of vanilla and earthy spelt. Great nose!
The palate is full and wheaty with plenty of dark rye grains and a lovely, natural earthy character. A touch of vanilla adds a little sweetness. Long and wheaty with lingering spice, pepper and citrus.
