Full and vanilla’d aromas, but also a little gristy with grass, straw and ripe, slightly baked fruit. A good dollop of malt comes through with time as does some hints of gooseberry and greengage.
The palate mirrors the nose, in that it’s full and vanilla’d with plenty sugar coated fleshy fruit, straw and malt. Hints of dark chocolate and baked fruit on the middle. Long a lovely intensity of malt and dark chocolate, plus a touch of bitter almond.
