Pungent aromas of white fruit, straw, cider vinegar and barley. A little flat, but that could be down to the abv.

The palate is a little rough and vinegary with hints of sweet barley, white chocolate, honey and citrus. The finish is masked but does show a touch of rose Turkish delight.

Even with a drop of water the nose is still quite alcoholic but it’s less vinegary and maybe not quite as rough. Dilution has brought out the slightly orangey sugars. The palate is less rough and vinegary as well. Subtly spiced and honeyed with orange and tangerine notes. Simple but pleasantly peppery on the finish.
